Portable Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment

Interpretation is often confused with translation, but they are in nature different: interpreters work with the oral language and translators work with written texts. Our portable simultaneous interpretation equipment mimics the audio configuration of a regular simultaneous interpretation service; it offers the best audio for everyone involved and guarantees the interpreters will be able to hear the speakers and audience properly so that they can offer their best rendition and convey the message accurately into the other language. This unique configuration sets us apart from other suppliers. Note that this configuration does not require amplification through a PA system.

Up to 25 Williams Sound Multichannel FM receivers. The kit includes headphones for the speakers and give away earbuds for the audience. More receivers may be available upon request.

2 Williams Sound Multichannel FM Transmitters with Sennheiser noise-canceling headsets. There is one active transmitter and one backup in the kit.

Kit of two wireless microphones (2 lavalier or 1 lavalier and 1 handheld) for the speakers and audience; and a receiver for the interpreters to get clear audio from the speaker. This allows the interpreter to keep physical distance from the parties.
